When doing a film about the world’s oldest restaurant, you can imagine that anything that could be said, has probably been said already. To me, the magic and mystique of this ageless factory of flavor comes not from its amazing longevity, but from the vibrant character of those that keep it alive. Finding the human side of a story, no matter how many times it has been told, will always be interesting to me.
