True travel is poetry in motion and there is no prose sweeter than Bordighera in Liguria. Such a beautiful place, full of fascinating history, miles of pristine coastline, and obviously some of the best food in the world. Bordighera is relatively a secret still, only 40 minutes to the infamous Monaco in France, it has all the same beauty and wonder, but is so much more friendly and accessible. You can rent e-bikes, dine on the beach, explore ancient towns, swim in mountain waterfalls, horseback ride, or just chill. I fell in love (hard) there ... and am so happy to share this little poem to a stunner of a city.
